At the Minikani Equestrian center our mission is to provide children and adults the opportunity to follow their passion for horses by being educated in all aspects of horsemanship by experienced staff in a safe and friendly environment, while upholding the core values of the YMCA.
Under the supervision of our Equestrian Director Alex Philpin, Olympic Barn Manager, and British Horse Society Instructor, our programs offer a variety of options regardless of the campers riding level or style.
At our Equestrian Day Camps and Resident Camps, campers learn to care for horses, from feeding to brushing to mucking stalls, and develop their riding skills through lessons, trail rides and games.
In addition to our Equestrian Camps, the Minikani Equestrian Center offers year round lessons and specialized camps for both adults and children. We invite you to tour our beautiful facility and meet our horses and staff.
